Jason, the main mechanic at 35W Auto is quite knowledgeable. Repairs are done quickly. Barney's Midway Garage now shares space with 35W Auto. I know that the owner of that company, Dan, is an expert at the trade. Jason and Dan are old friends, and work closely --- they must have at least 60 years of combined experience!
I have taken both of my vehicles (Honda Civic & Toyota 4Runner) to this mechanic for years. He has always been very honest (charging less, when he quoted more), dependable (always ready when he says it'll be ready), and has charged less than the dealer (timing belt change from dealer $750 versus $575) Can't ask for me than that.
Quality mechanic that does great work honest reliable service in the automotive industry is hard to come by i will be sending my friends and family to see Jason anytime i have car trouble!!!
Was over charged slightly. Charges 85 per hour when most places charge 50. He did seem like a nice guy though.
